“Horrific after an accident”

I was involved in an accident where the other driver was at fault. Direct line were useless in assisting, I wondered why I was paying my insurance at all - after transferring me through to various different departments and being left on hold for about 40 minutes minimum every time I rang, I eventually went through my third party insurance because they were extremely helpful - Octagon who I would recommend.

Direct Line were unhelpful, unfriendly, didn't offer any personal help really and wanted to get me off the phone as quickly as possible, even though I had never put in a claim before and this accident was not my fault. I will never insurance with them again after a very stressful accident where I got no support from my insurers whatsoever, just a whole load of stress.
