I got this card back In November. It seemed exactly what I was looking for, a card that I could pay up front in cash to make online purchases. Everthing at first went well. I applied for the card, received the letter from them to take to the post office, I went to the PO, paid the £4.95 and about a week later I received the card and my pin number. No problems there. So I then topped up the card at the PO and the £4.95 was added to my account. I then started using the card with no problems at all until about a month ago when I received an email telling me that unless I upgraded to the credit builder account (which I don't want and didn't sign up for) I could no longer top up at a PO, but that I could still top up at any Money Shop. As there is a Money Shop 3 or 4 miles away in my local town I wasn't too concerned and thought that I would go there and top it up. No such luck! I've been there now a total of 6 times and each time I've been told that the person with the 'code' to top the card up wasn't there until yesterday when I was finally told that I would NEVER be able to top the card up there and that I would have to go into the city ( roughly a 40 mile round trip) to top up the card. However, after just reading a review from someone who topped up and was told they couldn't access their money until they upgraded I don't think I'll bother. So I don't know what's going to happen next. I tried emailing them, but that's impossible, and there's no way that I'm throwing money away phoning a premium rate number to get nowhere.
