General Comments
I had banked with Lloyds for over 12 years, and recently graduated and transferred to a graduate account, which has an overdraft limit of £2,000, and I took out a graduate loan to buy a car and clear a credit card. My overdraft limit was put at £300 at my own request to stop me from going into debt again, this I thought was a sensible thing to do. I then started a masters degree and needed to stay in Scotland for two weeks for training, I needed my overdraft extending to about £600 to cover travel and accommodation, even though I was supposed to get this as part of my graduate account, they refused it. The reason they gave was that I had a loan, but this was not agreed when I took the loan. Lloyds seem to only care about making money. Avoid them if you are about to go to uni, go with Natwest, I have found them to be very helpful and are always willing to help me with finances. Students get a rough enough time without Lloyds deceiving to them.
