I think it is a positive way to view and look for someone of interest that you might want to pursue, but you have to take the good with the bad.
I think it is more than likely the safest site I have tried, but there are one or two dud profiles I found. but I doubt that would be the fault of the site or what it is meant for.
I hope that you try it.
