“NEVER HAVE I EVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING QUITE SO...”

First of all maybe I thought I was the only one. However after reading all of the other recent bad reviews today I just had to add my disgusting experiences from yesterday in my local Boston, Lincs Store, and I have never reviewed anything in my life.

Yesterday at around 3.15pm my other half and I went to PC world with the aim to treating ourselves to a new computer. After a little looking around we deciding on going all out with a HP all -in- one desktop, with touch screen and the whole shebang! At £700 it was more than I hoped on spending but as it is an investment we were willing to pay a little extra. Clearly looking around for a little assistance, first of all, not a single member of staff came up to us asking if we needed any help - but my other half knows a little about computers so we managed.
So after picking out a Printer, Ink, Paper, Microsoft Office and Macaffee Protection, as I stood in the middle of an aisle surrounded by purchases my other half went to get a member of staff so he could fetch us a Computer from the back.

Only to be answered back with "Have you seen the time, its 4.05pm now, its too late, your going to have to put everything back as its illegal to serve you after 4pm".

Shocked my other half came back in disbelief as not only were we just about to spend the best part of £1,000 but we had clearly been in the shop now for over 45mins waiting for service. We aren't stupid and knew that it closed at 4pm but At NO point did any member of staff notify us that if we wanted to purchase anything, we would have to go to the till to ensure we could pay on time.

So I hunted down another member of staff to explain our situation, and to be fair he looked as shocked as I did, however the rude man who has answered first then clocked me and came hurrying over to only reply "I have already told you we can't serve you after 4pm, We have been open since 10am, maybe you should have come earlier."

Unsurprisingly, we walked out without purchasing a single thing, as never in my life have I heard such nonsense. By this point we were not even the last people in the shop - there were still people buying things at the till and a few stood looking at Ipads.

Not impressed at all - and its safe to say the customer service department heard from me soon after. Still waiting for a response.
