I went to the Aberdeen store, at bridge of dee, and picked up a charger. I then attempted to also buy an iPad. I was advised that it was out of stock and was advised that the item would be available in another store. I went to that store, 25 minutes away in traffic. They told me it was out of stock. Clearly the chap in the first pc world should have checked stock and/or reserved one! Next they told me they could order one to the store but couldn't tell me how long it would take. I had a voucher that could be used only in store so reluctantly despite no advise on any timescale I asked to order the item for collection in the other first store that was more convenient for me to attend. I was advised that I could not order there for the other store. I was told it wasn't impossible but that they chose not to as the store boss would not be happy with the employee ordering items for other branches. I walked out. As I said I had a voucher that I understand is only valid in store and not on line but I was still £300 of my money and thus far I had attempted to order the item twice without success, I certainly know that I would not have continued without the fact that I had ended up with this voucher. I went back to the store and sumarrised the poor service to a member of staff. They responded by saying. "So do you want to order it then?" Things could get worst! Lol. I ordered it but was told despite being a run of the mill item that I had to pay for it upfront. Really strange! What if I ordered an iPad but didn't pay for it upfront? Well then I was not allowed to order it!! I can't see the point in this. Clearly they would easily sell the iPad! So I handed over my money and it's now been a week. Not got a text, email or call at all to advise me of when to expect the item to be available for collection. So I would give it zero stars if possible!!
