My daughter went to work and live in Belgium.
I fly over regularly to see her, always with Ryanair and always from Manchester to Charleroi Brussels South.
I must have gone a dozen times now and am always impressed.
The fare is £12.50 each way to sit on a leather seat in a brand new Boeing 737-800.
Spotlessly clean. Never late.
I just don't know how they do it. If £12.50 for 550 miles isn't a bargain, what is?
The airport is a bit of a rip-off at Manchester, costing £20 per day to park my car and £3.50 per pint of beer.
I'd thoroughly recommend Ryanair though.
You can take a massive bag into the cabin for free and there's no checking in. You just go straight through departures, show the boarding pass you print off and wait for the plane.
Fantastic.
