General Comments
I bought this Sharp GX30 mobile phone at the start of the week. A day after it arrived, I had decided to send it back. Why? Because between them, Sharp and Vodafone UK have crippled the phone so much as to make it nigh on unusable.



Firstly, the bluetooth implementation only supports the use of headphones, so no transfer between phone and computer. That will require an extra, expensive, lead.



Secondly, even if you have the lead, you can not install java apps on the phone this way. In fact, I found that the only way to install anything on this phone is to download paid-for apps from Vodafone Live.



Thirdly, the addition of an SD card is great, but you can not even install applications from this.



It is a real shame, the phone is nice to use, the screen and camera are excellent, and in every other sense, it is a nice phone.



However, the bluetooth crippling and points described above make this phone one to absolutely avoid if you plan on doing anything other than making calls and taking pictures.
