“dont rent though this company”

We booked through Rentalcars.com. I have never been tricked like that. They lead you to believe that you are renting a car at an excellent price. However on arrival at the garage, which is not at the airport as they let you believe, is actually off airport and you are then presented with additional costs. The representative was unhelpful and unapproachable, although we had paid our insurance through Rentalcars.com, this was meaningless and you are then presented with further insurance via Goldcar-if you decide not to take this insurance then Goldcar will insist on taking 1200 euro holding deposit. Throughout these dealings at Goldcar´s reception the representative was extremely unprofessional and the level of service was well below zero.
We just left, although already paid $130. We are very disappointed and our daughter and her friend were very much looking forward to the car as the weather had not been good. The representative continuously repeated, it´s in the terms and conditions which is very unhelpful and displays a level of service, which is fortunatley not widely experienced in most reputable companies.
