I bough my 2000 iron barrel 500 used, with only 10.000 on the clock. A big box of spares and a full history completed what i thought was a bargain...

3500kms later, the box of spares is nearly empty, and the new engine is also broken..I have to say to begin with, to clear up any misunderstandings, i am used to classic engines of all sorts, and i do not heavily modify engines nor race..I am a mature driver. But the engine was defective when i bought the bike, it finally gave up 500kms after purchase. However everything gave problems on the first 500kms, gearbox, electricalsystem, clutch, brakes and finally engine. A new engine got fitted, and that one gave up after 3500kms, not even broken in..All bearings are ready to be binned. I wouldnt recommend the RE Bullet to my friends, not even my enemies as they're humans after all too..The bike costed me 6000 Euroes for 4000kms..i could have rented a Ferrari for that..Stay away from the Bullet, its junk. I give it one star, just because i have to, but disregard the star, it's too much.
