“Wrong prescription twice from Boots”

I had my eyes tested in June 2014, I was told my prescription had changed dramatically. I choose the frames but was rather rushed by the assistant as they were very busy. Wore my new glasses for two days despite having the visual feeling of the floor falling away. I then found a piece of nylon thread sticking out of the side of the frame so went back, assistant took them upstairs to mend as she had pulled the lense out, when she brought them back she had scratched the lens, she tried to adjust the vision by bending them and said I needed to give them time as it was a big prescription change. I went back week after week but nothing changed, so six months later they decided to do another test and found that the glasses were too strong for me. I asked if I could have new frames and was told no. New prescription now better but the frames were all over the place, I lost count of the times they tried to adjust them, staff were obnoxious one asked me if I ever cleaned them, another one pulled a face when I entered the shop. I gave up in the end. I started suffering funny vision and had my eyes tested last week elsewhere and found that the second prescription with Boots was also wrong, and that the glasses were affecting my sight and making me long sited, also they were the cause of the pain in my head. I will never set foot in Boots opticians again and would not recommend them to anyone.
