“Being such a big company and a big name with...”

Being such a big company and a big name with international travellers, I thought for sure I would be safe with this lot. I wish I had read these reviews before I gave them my hard earned money. I bought a gold level policy to cover me while I was in India for 3 weeks and the policy schedule had all the items I wanted. Flights, medical, baggage, missed connection, etc.
I wish I could leave zero stars as they don't even deserve the one I had to give to leave this review!

During the trip, I had to take an internal flight that had a connection. Due to bad weather, I missed that connection as the first flight was severely delayed - US$104 to be put on the next flight. Less than the cost of the policy. I came back and lodged a claim which they assured me would be paid (after they tried to tell me I had to ring one of the other offices as I didn't sound American!)and then sent me a letter saying it was denied. They only cover missed connections if you are getting on a cruise ship! WTF?? I wasn't even going on a cruise so why would I want coverage for that? And how could they not cover internal flights if the whole trip is supposed to be covered? Then they denied my claim for trip delay the policy only covers you for getting there and back! They were totally non-responsive and completely unapologetic for deceiving myself (and everyone else) with this.

Do yourself and favour and never buy a policy from them. You will regret it if you actually need it
