Have been a loyal Admiral customer for many years and always pleased with the level of service. NOT ANY MORE. Annual renewal - asked if either named driver had attended a speed awareness course in the last 5 years, we both have but still have no points on our licences. Revised renewal fee leapt by £220. Checked with my commercial insurer who assured me that driver awareness courses SHOULD NOT affect insurance premiums. He was also able to secure a like for like policy with an alternate insurance company for £250 less than the original renewal fee - a saving of £470.
Shame on you Admiral - hopefully more will get wise to the underhand methods employed to raise insurance premiums - oh and we have 14 years NCB!!!!
