“Rubbish quality........”

Purchased a leather 3 piece suite about 5 years ago. Ivory leather, 3 seat sofa and two armchairs. First of all, beware. Whilst the sofa was 'cheap, at around £500, the two armchairs were almost the same price. My suite with all the extras came to about £1800 !
The sales guy was very good because he convinced me that I was getting a top quality suite. I paid up and waited for delivery. About 8 weeks later I got a call from DFS saying they wanted to deliver the suite. I wanted a few days to get rid of my old suite, but DFS insisted I took the new suite next day. Nightmare !
Suite delivered and as another reviewer says, cushions started to collapse after a few months. The coating on the very low grade leather started to come off, after which the colour of the suite deteriated. DFS also stitched me up with illegally sold PPI. I eventually got this back after being pushed from pillar to post between Santander and DFS.
What to look out for is :
Chairs are almost the same price as a sofa.
Chair frames adequate (which DFS guarantee for 10 years strangely), but cushion and leather quality is absolute rubbish.
You will have to take delivery of your furniture as soon as it's available.
Overall, I would never go back to DFS for anything. I now have another suite which is great.
