“Iceland is amazing”

Arrived at the airport and waited a while before we actually boarded which was a bit of a pain but we finally arrived, went to duty free in Iceland airport so at least you don't have to carry everything. Got on the bus and started our first views of Iceland..... amazing. Low rise and vast expanses of land, sea and snow. Got dropped off at our hotel which is only ok I'm afraid - its approx. 23 minutes from town and the bus service is great but if I was to go again - I'd stay in town. We had booked the trips with Fleetway before we went so it was just a cast of waiting to be collected - the tours were totally amazing. Northern Lights search - you can't fault the tour company they really chase around the Island to get the best place to see them. The Blue Lagoon is totally out of this world - sitting in a very nice hot bath in the middle of a snow storm.... and the Golden Circle - out of this world. Eating out is expensive but about London prices but if your a heavy drinker - you might break the bank...
