General Comments
I have great results with my Benjamin Sheridan Legacy 1000. I do not hunt and enjoy plinking at long ranges. I have read many comments about the inconsistent accuracy of this gun and I must disagree. I have a range set up in my back yard that is about 50 yards out. I can consistently hit soup-sized cans from this distance using the iron sights.
I would love to use the scope, but the mounts were unable to handle the recoil and after about 20 shots the scope was at the rear of the rifle. Once I get the correct scope mount I am going to try for distances of 60-70 yards. My rounds of choice are Gamo Ball Rounds, Beeman Wadcutters and Hollow Points (from Wal-Mart).
In conclusion, this rifle is a great value for the money and great for the plinker and I would assume light hunter.
