Good Points
The Smartie is a fun snack and is not designed to bridge a gap. Thus, it can be eaten up to 10 minutes before a meal without adversely affecting one's appetite.

Bad Points
The new packaging

General Comments
As a 26 year old Nestle Smartie veteran, I find it somewhat disconcerting that I am still unable to identify whether the different colours are flavoured differently. I am quite sure that the orange ones are and possibly even the brown, which have the flavour of a brown dolly mixture. I have registered already my dislike of the new packaging (see above), but I understand that I am a traditionalist and shall leave judgement for the new breed of Smarties consumers - the children. To that end, I would like to say 'well done Nestle and continue the good work'.
