“Defective, substandard products & atrocious customer...”

Where do I start. This is the most terrible company to deal with and their products are so flimsy and poor quality you will be very annoyed.

1. I ordered a a toilet,sink boston bath and shower glass screen as well as a side panel for the bath. The screen was 2 inches too short and did not align to the bath it was designed for. I called customer service and was advised that they need to refer this to their technical team. My plumber has to add on a piece of plastic after I wasted 3 days for a call back to resolve the issue. I was told "we have never had this problem" and "is it the right way up?", "do you now there is another 1 cm that can be pulled out"!!!!! you find it very difficult to not lose you temper. The screen was 2 INCHES short.

2. I ordered 2 towel radiators and the valves that came with the rad leaked all over the floor. The threading is so cheap it is not fit for purpose. I called and complained. They sent me £4 for the inconvenience - but my builder lost 2 days as he had to re-do the floor tiles.

3. I had to pay for a return £20 via DHL.

Overall, if you would like to sped hours complaining and being assured they will "look into it" and get back to you then go ahead. The products are manufactured in a very cheap way and VP have various methods of fobbing you off - I was assured that I would receive a call back from the customer service adviser but no one called back. Victoria Plumb do not care about their reputation.

I called up VP before I ordered any items and I asked about all the negative reviews that are online and the "scripted" answer was "oh people only review when they are annoyed", "our products have improved", "we make sure we follow up with customer issues".

Please go to Wickes or sped your money elsewhere!!!! you have been warned.
