“Talk Talk ( beware of false promises) terrible service”

written by Giuliana116 on 16/01/2015

My Father age 82 signed up to Talktalk early december and the deal seemed ok, an egineer was booked to come out and install phone, braodband, TV for 24th Dec, no engineer turned up, he contacted them again between xmas and new year and they said no record of engineer booking allthough he has email to prove this, they then say its an easy set up do it yourself, fine only trouble was no TV box! after eventually receiving the TV box 3rd Jan and set up by myself everything ok for 3 hours then the Braodband goes off, this carried on for days, contacted Talktalk who said the would run test, great they text to say they have found fault and would send engineer, you guessed it nobody turns up on day rearrange enginner and they turn up, replace phone socket box and still can,t find problem and go away to exchange to fix later they ring up say problem will be solved within 20 mins, after 20 mins not only does he lose broadband he loses incoming calls after numerous call and promisis my father has been without phone and broadband for a couple of weeks, enough is enough we ring to cancel contract and told this will cost nearly £250 as he is out of his 14 day cooling off period, how can you be out of cooling off period when never had sevice in first place, totally not intrested and are now refusing to free up the line number till cancelation fee pay, watch this space as no way is this happening without a fight, pleas ebeware of these jokers
