I ordered a venetian blind for an unusually wide window, having first looked at national suppliers (inc Homebase + IKEA). None of them were able to supply a blind wide enough, even though I would have been able to cut it to size.
The width was no problem to Concept Blinds, there was an extensive colour range and ideal slat width, all at an excellent price.
The instructions for measuring up were specific, and clear.
The blind arrived within 3 days. The quality of all parts was excellent.
Unfortunately, due to no fault of Concept Blinds, the carriers had damaged the blind during transit so that it was severely bent (metal kinked) in two places,1/3 and 2/3 along the main frame. This made it impossible to fit using the clip system and the kinks would have been visible. I took pictures of the damage and sent them to Concept Blinds. They responded promptly advising that they would send a replacement blind, even though I had pointed out that in my opinion the damage was not their fault, but the carriers. The replacement blind arrived within 3 days.
I am extremely pleased with my blind, but especially with the service provided by Concept Blinds. Problems can occur with any purchase and with any company. What matters is the way these problems are dealt with and Concept Blinds could not have dealt better with the problem, which was not of their making. I have the highest regard for this company and have told my story to several friends and colleagues.
