“Refund for trip interruption”

We purchased insurance policies for a cruise from Barcelona to Istanbul. Our flights were on Air France. Last September, several days before the end of the cruise, Air France cancelled our flight home from Istanbul due to a pilots' strike.
We,had to purchase one way tickets home to San Francisco at the last minute at a cost of @4,000 more than the Air France flights .
We did receive a partial refund from Air France, but still were out of pocket over $2,000.
The company promptly refunded us the full amount of our loss once they received all the documentation
On an earlier cruise, we received a full refund for several trips to the ship's doctor.
I believe the company was CNA both times.
Excellent service.
