Good Points
Optical quality comparable to much more expensive makes
Very crisp image with very close focussing
Design of barrels provide a great fit for hands, the textured surface giving a very good grip (particularly in the wet)
I can see very good colour in poor light
The click-stop eye piece makes viewing and focussing precise and comfortable.
Bad Points
There really aren't any, but if I was forced I would have to say that they are still quite weighty and I wish the strap was a wide neoprene design for comfort - particularly when birding all day
General Comments
The Pentax 8x43 DCF SP is a wonderful pair of very high quality binoculars that can't be beaten for price.
