Knowingly oversold and refusing to refund my £129! .... Beware!

I purchased tickets via Wowcher for the New Year Event 2014: A James Bond themed New Years Eve murder mystery night inc. overnight stay at Ramada, Warwick.
After four consecutive days of calling the number provided to redeem, the call was finally answered. We were informed by Ramada that all places have gone as Wowcher oversold the tickets. Ramada did however state that Wowcher are aware of the issue and I can expect a full refund.
I have since been chasing, and all Wowcher has offered are credits. I have also had to speak with Ramada to ask them confirm and explain to which they were quite wiling to do and sent this by email as Wowcher would not call them .... but still no refund! The Wowcher customer services advisor dealing with this has since stopped responding to my communications, and i'm left £129 out of pocket!

I would warn all to avoid buying events/services through wowcher as they can't guarantee availability, and do not refund if oversold!

I made the purchase with my credit so I'll be raising a dispute with my CC company and hope that I get my refund that way.
