“DISCUSTING. WORST EVER SERVICE. STAY CLEAR”

Far as im concerned im not stepping foot in game again. I brought a preowned game from merryhill store west midlands at the upper mall.the guy behind the till was iggnorant and spent most of his time talking to the other people laughing and joking and fooling around.. Stated to me a pre owned game would be infact a better option as of longer gaurentee so because it was for a small child i agreed. So he spends 10 mins trying to find the game..puts it in the bag. I go home wrap it up for my nephew and thats that. Xmas day my nephew opened it and said it was for the xbox one..but id given the lad the xbox 360 from the shelf and never noticed he had given me the preowned game for the console! So not to worry il take it straight back to the same store and swop it. Mistakes happen right?....

Took it back and the same guy was on shift. Explained that the game was for wrong console (But i didnt state it was his fault i just simply asked to change it) he took a look at the game and stated he wouldnt be taking it back or swopping it because the purple seal wasnt on the case. To what he could clearly see i honestly didnt know what purple sticker... he then showed me the sticker and i stated it was him infact that served me and thats when it got out of hand. He claimed he ALWAYS puts stickers and he NEVER makes human error but we know he does because 1- he gave me back the wrong game & 2 - i was the only one with the game and i know there was no purple sticker.... SO he calls me a scammer..said he sees people all the time trying to do this? Also calling me a liar. He didnt check the game at all..neither the receipt. He didnt want to know.. so after 5 minutes of arguing with me...no empathy..no help..no offer to call customer service... i left the store with him and another employee shouting *thanks have a nice day* in a chirppy sarcastic voice knowing they had got to me and really wound me up.
I called customer service 3 times! Yes we will call u back....? Nope. A girl called kerry was way to busy to speak to me when i called back. 13 days for a call back? Because she was busy? Yeah... forgot or cant be bothered comes to mind.
Finally speak to a guy who does ring me back the same day to put a complaint through to the managers... £5 on the reward card an all that.... yeah wont get used.
Now awaiting a call from another manager......

Discusting unhelpful in store service which infact was childish, poor and the WORST service i have ever received in my life! The customer service centre...what a waste of time. Again not helpful..not really arsed and all they do is say * sorry. Im sorry about that* how about okay let me get this sorted for you!

As a company you wont last because the loyalty rewards isnt really anything..i dont feel valued as a customer and even with that good old £5 youve given me, i still dont see the benefit in walking back into game. Your employees obviously dont get much joy from their job due to their attitude and unhelpful service and they dont know how to deal with angry customers.
If your ok with your employees been that way then that just shows what type of company you are. Ive seen many bad reviews on social media... dont look good and i definetly will not be recommending you but i will be telling other of the experience ive had.
