After moving in to an older house that needed a new central heating system I was advised that these boilers were the up & coming make & I should definitely get one. Trusting the plumber I decided on a 39c and had it installed in April 2008. In less than a year the problems started with... Yep, the E5 error message. During the course go the 5 year warranty engineers have been out 9 times for the same fault. Each time it's ok for a few months then straight back to the same error message. A common theme of very unhelpful and disinterested customer service have only compounded the problems. It's now out of formal warranty & the error is still occurring. I recently had a local plumber out to look at it & he advised me that he'd had nothing but problems with these boilers. More worryingly he now won't return to fix it as it's such a bad boiler. My advice is steer clear of these boilers at all costs and don't let anyone talk you in to getting one installed!!
