“Well this is my first and current bike, where should I...”

Written on: 08/09/2010

Well this is my first and current bike, where should I start? Oh yes, this baby runs on something crazy like 90mpg, I literally top it up with £5 every fortnight and it's absolutely fine!

It sounds B-e-a-utiful for a 4 stroke 125, very throaty even with the stock exhaust system. the brakes are great, acceleration is good, although you'll jump to 2nd gear in a matter of seconds, it redlines at 10000rpm.

It takes corners rather well considering how slim the tyres are, but don't let that get you down, it's still a gorgeous bike.

However the gearbox in my opinion isn't the best, although it works alright, mine currently it wrecked on 5th gear. So alot of penny's will go out of my wallet to fix this!

A great starter sports bike, will turn heads unless you're very tall (Over 6ft) which would make the bike look woefully small...

However bad points, it isn't fantastic on top end, I've gotten 85mph out of mine but that happened only once, and it tends to struggle on steep hills (around 15% gradient) Other than that, and the gearbox there's nothing else I could slate about it.

It's also very good for forgiving you on mistakes (stalling, over revving etc.)

A great stepping stone to larger bikes!
