“Really Poor Service”

Arrived at Heathrow Europe car coach pick up point at 10.45pm on a cold December night and waited well over 30 minutes for a minibus to arrive. Whilst at the bus stop 2 x Hertz and 2 x Enterprise minibuses came and went with still none from Europe car. On the Enterprise second visit to the bus stop the driver asked if we would like to wait in the warm on his bus as we'd been there so long.

On our eventual arrival at the Europe car office there were only two members of staff working with a queue of customers to deal with, and when we were eventually seen we were told to just pick a car from a particular row without anyone to show us round a vehicle or explain how anything worked.

On our then very late journey down to Devon we found that the car we picked had a loud drumming noise from the rear end of the car and there was vibration from the passenger footwell floor. The following day we located the Europe car office in Plymouth and managed to exchange the car for a different one, wasting valuable time visiting family.

The only saving grace for the company was the service from their Plymouth office where the staff were very helpful.

Would not use Europe car from Heathrow again as there are far better hire car providers at that location.
