We bought a Worcester Bosch after a gas fitter recommended it when our old boiler died, and we've now had 27 trouble free months from it. However, when it suddenly stopped this morning we thought our luck had run out. My husband consulted the manual which didn't help, but it suggested ringing Worcester Bosch direct. My husband thought this was a complete waste of time but when he rang he not only got through straight away but they diagnosed the problem (a frozen condensate pipe)and told him how to sort it. Excellent! No having to call out an engineer with the associated costs and no freezing cold house in the meantime. Reading through the reviews here this isn't even a boiler fault, it's an installation one, but why aren't all customer service departments so helpful?
