“Horror Show from Tesco Finest Bathrooms”

Engaged Tesco Finest Bathrooms to completely renovate two bathrooms - paid top money for it (the quote was twice as much as some of their competitors) because we felt that the brand Tesco was going to give us a better quality finish. To our horror, while we dealt with Tesco during the initial process, we were quickly handed off to Mark Two (a subcontractor to Tesco) for the actual work. It has been more or less two and half years but all of this time has been a hell for us. Uneven tiles, leakages in both bathrooms, incompetent and unreliable Mark Two, and lots lots more. We must have had 500+ contacts with Mark Two via email, phone etc. The situation now is that one of our bathrooms is half ripped apart waiting for a fitter to come and fix it. Mark Two has now gone into administration. We called Tesco and were told that the earliest they can get back to us is in feb - we only have one functioning bathroom. The other one has been dug up since August and with no end in sight....
It is such a nightmare with Tesco. We have been nice so far just hoping that things will get fixed and we can move on. However, it just does not seem like the ordeal is coming to an end.
