“Good service for premium”

I made a claim reference 770504 for an iphone5 that was damaged beyond repair.

The claim was difficult to set up in the beginning, as it had been allocated to a specific claims handler right from word go and getting hold of that particular person wasn't easy, if they were on the phone to someone else no one else was able to help me.

Once the claim was set up (which took about 2-3 weeks in the end due to times lines were open, my work times and the claims handler being engaged on other calls when I rang), everything else was easy. I posted the phone off and a couple of days later called to check it had been received. It had already been assessed and I was told a replacement phone was being sent out that day.

The replacement phone arrived 2 days later, my only problem is that the replacement phone was just a reconditioned one, which no one had mentioned to me. Reconditioned in The Philippines the label said. I suppose for the £5.50 a month I pay maybe it was a bit much to expect a brand new iphone, I would however at least have expected to have been told that it wouldn't be.

Apart from the replacement phone and the teething problems setting up the claim I was happy with the service and would recommend to others, especially for the price.
