“Good Value Car Rental”

I booked in advance on line (from Bolivia) and on arrival at Birmingham Airport my car was waiting for me. Checking in at the rental desk was quick and easy only requiring a view of my driving licence and a swipe of my credit card (nothing debited - only done as an insurance that I will pay any outstanding bills - such as fuel or accident damage excess). It's quite a long walk from the Enterprise Desk to the Hire Car Compound and a shuttle bus would be nice although I have never used one. My car was waiting for me when I arrived and after a quick check around the car, it was mine for 2 weeks. I had selected a Ford Focus Automatic but was given a Toyota Auris which was a little smaller. The Toyota Hybrid system is a little quirky but fortunately I had driven a Prius previously so the controls were familiar. A couple of items on the car did not work - The nearside drivers mirror would not adjust electrically and the interior lights did not come on when the doors were opened. Minor problems really but unnecessary. The car was generally clean but there was evidence of a previous customer's pistachio nut consumption in the central console.

The car behaved faultlessly for two weeks and the fuel consumption (motorway and local driving) was around 60mpg. Very economic and environmentally friendly. I found the boot to be a little small probably due to the Hybrid Batteries but as I was the sole occupant for most of the time it was possible to lower the back seats and load 4 large suitcases.

Returning the car was easier than hiring it and was over in less than 10 minutes.

I have no hesitation in recommending Enterprise and personalIy I will use them again.
