Purchased 2 Abbey Chenil sofas and noticed after a short period that dark stains appeared on the cushions. Afte numerous conversations with the Marks & Spencer customer team I have benn advised if I had read the comments on the back of the colour swatch found in store I would have seen a warning on discolouration is given. Believe this to be totally unreasonable to expect customers to read the warning on the swatch, as this does not occur to you when viewing, as you are just looking to see if the colour meets your requirements. No warning was given during the sales process by the Marks & Spencer sales assistant and if this warning had been given, we would not have purchased. Marks & Spencer are advising us to contact the furniture ombudsman.
Very disappointed at the after sales service given and we will never be shopping in this store again.
