Good Points
External design still looks better than all the new models out there today.

Bad Points
Fuzzy text on the left hand side of the screen - this does not affect your normal viewing but it can be seen when using sky menus.
Banding from left to right especially bad when not using viewing through sky. I have been told that this is because channel 5 interferes with all the other channels due to the sets frequency set up.
It is 3 years old and it has just started flickering when I turn it on.

General Comments
I have only ever bought Panasonic before this and have never had any problems. My old Panasonic set is still working fine and it's nine years old. The reason I went for a Sony other than it's looks was the reputation it had for excellence. I for one will never consider buying a Sony product again having witnessed what they accept as minor problems.
