Firstly, very friendly lady spoke to me about doing this survey. Everything was easy and ran smoothly.
The only problem with the whole process which is not exclusive to Budget is the No Claims Bonus situation. If there is a problem with the previous insurer, as in my case, it is a real problem getting proof sometimes. It appears that insurers can obtain proof from the previous company as a last resort. Why not have a system like with proof of insurance or MOT as with car tax? Then everyone can automatically access it on the internet.
