BAD MOVE by gumtree trying to charge stupid high prices and expect customers to buy, simply they won't, it is the current joke.
Couple that to replies to adverts that are down by some 90% and it shows that gumtree is not a favourite site for anyone, it is very expensive advertising for little or no return and therefore a complete waste of money so be warned, you will not get the responses you want so spend your money on sites that people trust, gumtree is not one of them
