Great looking cars... If you want to accelerate for literally 5 seconds this the track. You spend the rest of the half a mile course negotiating bends being instructed to brake. Your 3 laps in the cars that rattle along, brakes screeching long overdue for a service, are over in seconds. The briefing takes longer during which you are told to make sure you push the drivers seat back when you get out so as not dirty the door!! You are also told that the rally day is better and that you can have more fun.....which having spent £150 is what you want to hear. All the cars are fitted with dual controls which I can appreciate is for safety reasons but bizarrely we were never asked for driving licences. However should you be unfortunate to follow the instructors guidance to the letter whilst driving and come off the track, wether it's your first or last lap you will be stopped from driving paraded past your spectators and driven out of sight to be informed would you like to be a passenger.
