i ordered a had tied autumnal bouquet for a friends birthday from what I though was a local florist for £50 plus 7.99 delivery. What I got was 3 roses 5 gerbera, 5 carnations and some greenery. No more than £20 worth and certainly no better than a £15 bunch you would get from a supermarket. When I phoned the local florist who delivered it they said they were told that they had £46.50 to use and after taking off their delivery charge of £4.50 they were left with about £40. So already we were down about £15. When I complained about the flowers they told me to take it up with Lillian rose which I immediately did.. Admittedly the MD contacted me admitted some liability and after a little exchange I was expecting a contact once she investigated it and full refund. 5 days later I chase only to be told that she would offer me £10 back and then after pushing the offer of replacement flower which would be more than £10 worth!
There was little customer service the offer was I thought derisory and when I continued to complain stating that the roses didn't even last 2 days I was told that £10 was all that was being offered and should I make any bad comments they will reserve the right to take Legal action.
I would expect better customer service from Ghengis Khan. Quite frankly as somebody who buys flowers regularly these were of a dreadful standard and quality. I was hoping to support a local florists instead I got poor service from a telflorist. As for the MD I would have thought she would have learnt from the reviews. My advise. Look else where. Or at least read the online reviews, in my experience they are true!
