We have ours for many years now. It is the previous model, but basically the same thing. The sleeve on the electric cord/steam hose has retracted to half, allowing some of the hose to rub off on the close and leaving black mark. It may have been corrected with this following model. The other CON is that the steam output is not constant, you need to wait at times for the tank to refill and reheat. Overall a great unit.
