Bought a holiday for my husband and I to Malta through Groupon - for £99 each. When I called ClearSky up to book it, they told me the flights were late on an evening leaving from one aiport - returning early in the morning to a DIFFERENT airport.
Obviously this was ridiculous, so I asked about changing them and was told that it would £69pp to get better flights from the SAME AIRPORT. I was put under pressure to book these on the phone at the time, because otherwise the price could go up.
I was naive and booked them, but upon inspection of the flights (through easyjet) and the hotel, the total price came to £198 - our original price. Clearsky had decided to add their own charge on top of this, falsifying the cost of the upgraded flights.
I called them straight back saying I wanted to cancel, and they said I couldn't because I'd agreed to the T&Cs of the previous phone conversation.
I'm currently trying to get a refund through Groupon - as I will not be going on this holiday thanks to this companies lies and deceit.
Avoid them at all costs.
