“LBank not very honest”

My wife and I both had five year term deposit accounts with Yorkshire Bank. Just prior to maturity they wrote with options for closure and transfer of funds - nearly £50,000. We opted for the funds to be transferred to our bank accounts. Yorkshire claimed that the electronic transfer failed on both transactions. They could not explain why. We double checked and they they were given the correct account details. When I complained they were totally unhelpful. Two cheques did eventually arrive in the post. Obviously this suited them better as it meant they had our money for an extra 7/10 days. I will never bank with Yorkshire Bank again. As fas as I am concerned they cannot be trusted.
