I made an error when booking (too early in the morning) and selected wrong date. I obviously expected this to be a disaster and impossible to fix because online travel agents in my experience are virtually impossible to talk to in person. Well, I was extremely pleasantly surprised with HotelDirect. Not only did I manage to easily get hold of them by phone, they corrected my mistake and because this was done in a timely manner I was not even fined or penalized (contrary to what I expected). I then received an email later form them reconfirming that a named person had contacted my hotel in Edinburgh to double check reservation. I am impressed and will definitely use them again.
