“Budget Car Rentals”

Booked with Budget for 2 week holiday in Orlando via Rentalcars for £245. Had to queue for 30mins before being attended to.The representative was very friendly and chatty.Tried to get me to upgrade but I politely declined. He then engaged me in light conversion before stating I did not have anything extra to pay. At no point were any additional extras,apart from the upgrade, discussed.He asked for my credit card and stated that there was just $333.22 to pay which I presumed was the outstanding balance on the rental. It was only on my return that I realized I had already been charged the full amount when I originally booked online and that Budget had charged me a further $333.22(approx £220). When I looked at the rental agreement closer, they had added extra insurance cover. I feel the reps deliberately use distraction techniques to get customers to sign up extras.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
