“roman blinds”

we purchased the hilary blinds after seeing the advert, 50% off plus a further 10% if ordered before X date. We said to the advisor we can only afford the ones that are on promotion so dont worry about the expensive ranges. The advisor showed me one and said this is usually £400 for one window roman blind, he did some calculations then said so after discount £300, I said thats not 60%, oh yes sorry he said, I can do that all in with fitting for £500.

With two screaming babies I said ok yes thank you. The blinds are very nice, but he was hear 30 minutes, charged us £198 for 30 mins fitting time, left lots of mess and therefore over charged us for the blinds too as whole deal should have been £160 plus £198 so £358. I had emailed him before hand, nothing was done he said he had honoured the price, I don't think he had though as he seemed very vague. It seemed like he made the prices fit and there is no way of knowing the true original cost. Someone should say the cost per sq metre is X! nice blinds but far too expensive for average family.
