Had a problem with my boiler where the Central Heating was working OK, but there wasn't any domestic hot water. I remembered that my Dial Direct (DD) Home Insurance had cover for boiler emergencies and rang the special number on the DD website. I was delighted with the response by DD personnel. A heating engineer arrived ~ 4 hrs later to assess the job, a very fair price was agreed with DD, the £100 allowance in my DD Policy was put towards said price and very small excess amount was paid by me by debit card over the phone, the part was ordered and the repairer came back early the next day to successfully complete the repair. A very efficient and cost-effective solution to an emergency situation. Well done Dial Direct.
