“Bathroom Tiles Not In Stock 2 Days Before Delivery!!!!!!!”

We decided to use Victoria Plumb for a complete new bathroom because of the huge saving and having a great selection of bathrooms to chose from. Having ordered samples of tiles since the summer we started to get lots of messages either through our emails or courtesy calls asking if we like the samples and telling us about how their discounts were ending in a week ( These seem to be on going) they also rang to see if we had received the samples ok as they had been having problems with their delivery service!!!!! again I think they say that as an excuse to pester you too buy. So we chose all the bathroom inc tiles, shower and furniture everything you need in a bathroom. We placed the order on the 19th October a message the appeared to tell us that the tiles were out of stock and the delivery would take place on Nov 13th we decided to go ahead which gave us more time to get the old bathroom taken out we arranged for the tiler to commence work the monday 24th giving us time to check through the items we had the electrician and plumber in place to start, we had the radiator taken out the week before we were well organised. On tues the 11h my husband got a call from VP to tell us that the wall tiles were out of stock and would be delivered to us on the 18th Dec!!!! and the two units were also out of stock and would be delivered to us on the 2nd Dec!! We rang them up absolutely fuming to be told they have been really popular. They offered us a goodwill gesture of 34.00 I laughed at them and they did increase it too 70.00 which we declined and cancelled all of the order the likelihood of us having the bathroom completed by Christmas is zilch. I would not recommend this company at all I would pay that little bit more to make sure the goods are going to be there when they say they will. Reading the reviews they are all positive on their site but this could because they have control what comments are left. please don't be let down by this company.
