Me and my wife travelled to the newport site in Wales from North devon so had a 2 and a half hour journey to do there and back. As we arrived we were greeted by a sales member of staff and immediately offered a coffee then a manager Took over and told usabout how it all worked at carcraft. He then asked us what type of car we had in mind. Which was the Ford Focus and then insisted in showing us other models of car. When we eventually got to see what focus they had we were very disappointed because there were only 3 at that site. He told us not to worry about that because he said they could get a focus from any one of there other sites that day if the cars there didn't meet our requirements. We took one out for a test drive but discovered the roof had deep gauges in it. We pointed this out to the sales rep and he had the car removed from the showroom. Prob is that left 2 Ford Focus which didn't fit our requirements. At this point I was really cheesed off after a long drive and being told over the phone that they definitely had a focus there for us I felt a bit conned.....but the manager and the rep then got on the Internet and showed us cars at there other sites they were actually going to go and pick one up from another site which was 3 hours away. Believe me when I say we were there most of the day prob 7 hours in total......we even had a macdonalds bought for our tea by the big boss......after much discussion and looking at other models of car.......we ended up buying a Peugeot 3008. It's a lovely car and we are over the moon with it.......we both went with a certain type of car in mind and I think this blinded us to all the other cars there......we traded our car in and the process all in all was quick and easy. Even down to borrowing a computer and changing our insurance over and taxing our new car...I would definitely recommend carcraft to anyone I know. Believe me the 2 and a half hour journey was a pleasurable one in our new car...
