“I booked a room I called the hotel as i was going to...”

I booked a room
I called the hotel as i was going to arrive late
They informed me that they had no rooms and hadn't had rooms on the said date for weeks.
The hotel confirmed this by e mail
I e mailed easybook and received nothing for a week they then confirmed there was no availability (the week was after the booking date)
I had confirmation that i would not be charged
I have now received a bank statement with the company as Hoteltravel.com taking the full amount from my account.
I have spent best part of an hour on the phone to India trying to make them understand they have wrongly taken money
They now say somebody will contact me in 7 - 10 days by e mail.
i won't hold my breath but urge everybody to think twice before using these sites
Booking.com is a fantastic hotel booking platform i use it all the time and nevr have any problems.
