“not impressed! went to another provider”

written by Forsythvz296 on 02/11/2014

I went to Boots The chemist in Manchester to print some pictures and this was the first time I used their photo service. I had my baby with me as a single mum and alone I take him with me all the time.
I went there, asked to print all the pictures from my two USB sticks. The computer was extremely slow to begin with...just to turn it on it took several minutes of waiting and then we needed to use another one as the one I started to use was seriously slow...Then, the second computer was not able to read one of the USB sticks which I find it very strange as the USB is read perfectly on my PC and in another photo shop I have been before. The shop assistant was not of a great help either...When he tried to use the second USB stick, there were about 40 pictures there...he asked me to select the one I wanted...I said " I need all of them as this is a gift for a grandmother who does not have a PC and she is 80 and wont know how to use one"... So, he started to click on one by one and I was shocked...I asked him if there was an option where you can select all at once...he said no...so, the option was to click on each picture one by one (40 in one stick) with a two months baby in the pram and a computer very very slow...Not a chance...prize wise also quite expensive...they should offer a bit of a discount after you print a certain amount or at least offer a discount on another printing service if you spend over a certain amount on printing pictures...Highly disappointed I left the store clearly stating that the programme they used is not good nor fast enough for busy people.
