I've had numerous insurance policies in the past and took this policy out for my daughters new HTC one which is on a 2 year contract. She's 17 and recently dropped it in the sink. Like most people I don't read the small print but assume that all relevant information is covered by details I give. I made a claim and yes there were a few problems but no more, and probably far less than I've experienced in the past with other companies charging far more. I've just received a refurbished item in the post, which lets all be honest here is what you can expect as the phone sent to them was used, and I didn't expect a brand new replacement. Also it comes with a one year guarantee. The whole process took about 3 weeks which is no longer than I expected. In this day an age using an old phone from a finished contract for a short time isn't any great hardship even for a 17 year old. I'm very happy with the customer services team and will carry on using them. In regard to cancelling as mentioned in some reviews, an insurance policy is not a legal requirement and a direct debit can be cancelled at any time via your online account. Should anyone continue paying for insurance for items they no longer have who honestly do they have to blame.
