General Comments
My Chinese B3 177 Underlever air rifle was a gift from a friend who picked it up at a flea market a few years ago. It was in the original box with a one page flyer "Chinese B3". The web prices for similar models are about $30-55. A lot of grease in the barrel and on the gun. The rifle has power with very clear holes in targets, the pellets in the trap are totally flattened! When I added a shoulder strap, the screws came out of the stock. Also, the shallow screws had split the butt of the stock! The upper hole for the top adjustment nut on the rear sight is too big, so the rear sight floats. With the rear sight cocked to one side, the gun is accurate. My standard size one piece scope mount was too long for the grooves, only about 3" long, and I am guessing 11mm. The front hooded sight is high, so a high scope mount, and possibly a riser may be needed. The only short one piece scope mount I found that might fit was a BLK for $35. However, I am not willing to buy a second scope mount. So, I am looking at Gamo and Mendoza rifles for my scope and mount. All in all, with the right scope mount, this could be a fun gun.
